Are you looking for a new challenge? Could you give some time ( from a couple of hours a week to helping with events and fundraising)? If you could spare some time, however little, please contact us to find out how you can make a huge difference to children and adults with disabilities.
We are a small but friendly group of volunteers, who want to enable both children and adults to experience the joy of riding. Riding helps promote confidence, balance, suppleness and also encourages social interaction, as well as giving huge pleasure to both riders and volunteers.
Volunteers should be aged 12yrs and above (below that age personal insurance cover would be required as RDA insurance only covers from 12yrs and upwards), volunteers aged between 12 and 14yrs must be supervised by an adult. They should be people who can be trusted to work unsupervised once the appropriate training has been given, be responsible and able to work as a team.
You can now also volunteer under the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme as we are an Approved Activity Provider. Click here for further details of how to sign up.
