Our Arena
Arena 2025 Update
In 2025 we were able to get a grant from Well Doncaster (Doncaster Council) to buy and install dressage mirrors at one end of the arena. This will help our participants make sure they have the right position for riding during their sessions.
Thanks to Winvic Construction, Pyramid Structures and Hormann, we also had a brilliant new side door installed in 2025. They carried out this work for us as part of their community support initiative while working in the Doncaster area.
The arena gets very hot in the summer, and this door really helps with extra ventilation for our riders, coaches, volunteers and horses. It will also serve as another emergency exit should it ever be needed. Superstar Bob was more than happy to test it out.
Arena 2024 Update
In 2024 the arena underwent a much-needed facelift. A lot of the kickboards were rotting and looked a bit tatty, plus we needed to make it safer for our riders by increasing the height of them. Tickhill Lions paid for the timber, so thanks to them and a lot of hard work by volunteers, both Lions and RDA, we were able to get this done.
Also in 2024, we received a grant from Screwfix Foundation and, with support from NHC, all the overhead lights in the arena were replaced and upgraded to LEDs. This makes it much safer for everyone who uses the arena, especially in the dark winter months.

Are you looking for a new challenge?
Could you give some time (from a couple of hours a week to more) helping with events, fundraising or helping us during our sessions? If you could spare some time, however little, please contact us to find out how you can make a huge difference to children and adults with disabilities.
We are a friendly group of trustees, coaches and volunteers, who want to enable both children and adults to experience the joy of riding. Riding helps promote confidence, balance, suppleness and also encourages social interaction, as well as giving huge pleasure to both riders and volunteers.
